If you owned a small golf store and you wanted to drum up a little business. How would you go about doing it? Would you put a large ad in the Yellow Pages? Perhaps , but is this money well spent ? I think not because it would cost a lot of money and not all people looking for golf equipment would look there. What about direct mailers to every house in town? Again, probably not because not all people are golfers. A lot of those mailers would go right into the garbage. What you should do would be a find way to reach just golfers in the most cost efficient manner possible. This is called targeted lead generation.

On the web, it is actually much easier to perform targeted lead generation than it is in “real life”. There are plenty of places you can go to track down those golfers, for example, and hit them up with an offer that might interest them without bothering a bunch of others who don’t golf.

Targeted lead generation can be done in several different ways, and no one way works all the time, so it is best to utilize a combination of these and more in order to develop the best lead list you can.
I have found the most affordable avenue to target products is a flat rate service that provides a directory listing with robust tools to put your best foot forward such as coupons , photo gallery, videos ( up to 5 ) and more… also an added feature to get you 10 keywords worth of sponsored link exposure and drive traffic to you on Google ,Yahoo. Ask, Aol, and more for a fraction of Seo management would normally cost. This company that provides this service is LocalAdLink .
